Participant Reflection Highlights Impact of “Reimagining Psychedelic Integration” Workshop
Rebecca Carrol (MDiv ’25) recently published a thoughtful reflection on her experience in my workshop, “Reimagining Psychedelic Integration”, held during the 2024 Psychedelic Intersections conference at Harvard Divinity School.
In her words, “The workshop was about psychedelic integration, but the questions that arose apply to other areas of my life, too.” Her piece explores how the workshop reshaped her understanding of what integration can mean. Rather than treating integration as a required process of translating or justifying psychedelic experiences, the workshop drew into question dominant therapeutic framings and encouraged participants to consider that not all experiences need to be resolved or made productive.
I’m grateful to Rebecca for her engagement and insight. Read her full piece here.
